| Philippe Flajolet researches the analysis of algorithms, analytic combinatorics, computer algebra, asymptotic analysis, special functions, random structures, and natural languages. An extensive collection of his articles, and the first chapters of the forthcoming book Analytic Combinatorics,is available online; most of the articles must be downloaded in PostScript or gzipped PostScript format. An extensive synopsis of a course on algorithms, in French, may be found with associated problems. Flajolet also describes his "Erdos number" and "Einstein number," versions of Six Degrees of Separation for mathematicians. | |
