| A 5-week residential science and math enrichment program for rising tenth grade students, held on the campus of the University of Kentucky and administered by the Outreach Center. This summer experience has been structured to enhance each participant's scientific problem solving and critical thinking skills. Emphasis is placed on interpersonal and group communication skills, analytical reasoning, self-assessment, and personal responsibility. The program has expanded its recruitment area to include all states east of the Mississippi and all surrounding states. Applicants should have an interest in pursuing a science or mathematics related career and a record of academic achievement. | |
