| Bees and portable computers can now be used to assess environmental hazards through the development of electronic hives, toxicological models, extensive databases, and pattern-recognizing software that help assess risks posed by metals, radiation, carcinogenic chemicals, and pesticides. The jump list on the Kids page links to questions about bees, bee jokes, a coloring book, and a quiz about famous beekeepers and their inventions. The activities are designed for kids of all ages, including beekeepers. | |
