| The objective of the lesson plan Investigating LCM and GCF Using Rods is to look at the Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Greatest Common Factor (GCF) from "hands-on" pattern-building to using set theory. With teachers as the intended audience, the activity relates the use of manipulatives with the more formal use of sets in number theory. | |
