Description: Interactive models and curricular materials, including: a galaxy simulation, fractal modelling tools, an energy minimization program using simulated annealing, biomedical and environmental models, a graphing tool with animation option, and a simulation of Edgar Allen Poe's "Pit and the Pendulum." Also included is Project Interactivate, a set of applet-illustrated, standards-linked lessons for the middle school level. MASTER tools are the result of on-going collaborations with the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA), George Mason University, and other education organizations.
